WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 2025

In continuation with world environment day 2025 the NSS unit of Malabar Institute of Technology Anjarakandy conducted tree sapling plantation on 05/06/2025 at 01:00PM at MIT campus. The tree sapling plantation was done by Mr. Abdul Khader Master, Ward Member, Anjarakandy Grama Panchayath in the presence of Prof. Dr. Rahoof P P, Principal MIT. All the staff members of MIT and NSS volunteers are participated in the program. Because of vacation, an online selfie competition is conducted for the students.

INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING 2025

On 26th June 2025 as part of international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking day a live telecast organized by department of higher education is broadcasted at new seminar hall of MIT at 09:30 AM. At 11:00 AM the pledge was taken in the presence of Prf. Dr, Rahoof P P, Principal of MIT. By using the “Say No To Drugs” the NSS unit of MIT conducted an online poster making competition for MIT students.

MALLIKA GARDEN MAINTENANCE PROGRAMME

On 17th July 2025, as part of the campus beatification initiative, the NSS unit of MIT is organized a Mallika Garden maintenance programme. At 12:15 PM, infront of our college campus all NSS volunteers, students and staffs were planted Mallika plants.

INDEPENDENCE DAY 2025

On the occasion of Independence Day, national flag is hoisted at Anjarakandy Integrated Campus on 15th August 2025 at 09:00AM. All the NSS volunteers of MIT, teaching and non-teaching faculty members and students of all the institutions were attended the programme. Dr. Purushotham B, Principal of Kannur Medical College was hoisted the national flag.

TREE TAG TRAINING PROGRAMME

The APJAKTU NSS cell, in association with Haritha Keralam Mission, is organizing a tree tagging programme on Carbon Neutrality for the students of the university. As a part of this NRPF was conducted a tree tag training session at our college on 25th August 2025 at 10:30 AM for all the S3 and S5 students at new seminar hall of MIT. The training programme was handled by Miss. Alfiya K.

Swachh Bharath

As a part of Swachh Bharath mission, students of MIT cleaned Chakkarakkal bus stand and premises on 13.8.2016.

Kanivu 7 Day Special Camp

Malabar Institute of Technology NSS unit:680 organized a 7 day residential camp in GVHSE,thottada from 21-12-2019 to 27-12-2019.

NSS Day

NSS day was celebrated on 24/09/2018 in the MIT campus. The programme started with NSS flag hoisting in the morning. All the volunteers actively participated in cleaning the playground the whole day.

Gandhi Jayanthi Celebration

In association with NSS wing MIT, Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on 2/10/2018. The programme started with flag hoisting in the morning. 300 paper pens were made by the volunteers.
